- The cloud-based payments company BillingPlatform replaced its CEO last week, naming software executive Chris Bishop to the post, the firm said in a news release Thursday.
- Bishop, who most recently served as the chief customer officer at the software-as-a-service company Conga, will succeed long-time CEO Dennis Wall, who will remain on the board of directors, the news release said.
- “Bishop brings more than 20 years of experience in enterprise software and a proven track record of driving operational scale and business growth,” the release said.

Wall joined Denver-based BillingPlatform as the chief revenue officer in 2017, according to his LinkedIn profile. He was elevated to CEO in August of 2017 after working for the company for about seven months, his LinkedIn profile says.
Bishop led Conga’s revenue operations and marketing, and has also held executive positions at Plex Systems, PeopleSoft and Oracle, according to the release. Bishop officially took over as CEO on Jan. 5, a spokesperson said in an email.
The company has raised $104 million, the spokesperson said, adding that the most recent fundraising round was a $90 million investment from the investment firm FTV Capital in January 2024.
FTV’s investment portfolio includes numerous payments companies.
