Atlanta-based Global Payments Inc., a provider of payment technology services, is offering merchants in Taiwan the ability to accept Apple Pay payments in-store and in-app, according to a press release.

"Given the widespread mobile device adoption across Taiwan, extending our omnichannel acquiring services here allows us to be at the forefront in delivering cutting-edge mobile payment solutions in the Asia-Pacific region," Frank T. Young, senior vice president of global product and innovation for Global Payments, said in a press release.
