GoSwiff, a global financial solutions provider, announced today with UniCredit, one of the major financial institutions in Romania, and MasterCard, a partnership to launch mobile point-of-sale acceptance in Romania, according to a press release.

The partnership is created to enable Allianz-Tiriac Asigurari agents to start accepting card payments with mPOS devices for the insurance policies issued by the company. Thus, Allianz-Tiriac Asigurari becomes the first insurance company in Romania to offer this product, enabling the client to pay for an insurance premium directly to the agent who sells the insurance policy.

Allianz-Tiriac is one of the leading insurers on the Romanian market with over 2,800 insurance agents across the country. The company integrated to its product portfolio an innovative payment acceptance solution on the go for its agents to help them close the deals with customers during a meeting and to provide the customer with the convenience to pay the premium on the spot.
