Uber announced an enhanced rewards program that gives customers double rewards when they use an American Express Corporate Card on their business profiles. 

Ronnie Gurion, general manager and global head of Uber for Business, announced the new feature in a blogpost.

Riders need to download the Uber mobile app and set up a profile through Uber for Business using a qualifying American Express Corporate Card. Riders can get additional points based on the tier of their card. 

For example, Uber Rewards currently pays 1X for Uber Pool, 2X for Uber X and 3X points for Uber Black, the highest tier luxury ride. Under the newly enhanced benefit riders can double points for each category, to 6X for Uber Black.

When an employee using Uber for Business reaches 500 points, they can redeem the rewards for various perks, including $5 in Uber Cash, zero Uber delivery fees and other perks.
