Jack Dorsey, CEO of Twitter and co-founder of digital payments company Square, recently threw some shade at both Bitcoin and Facebook's Libra. He claimed that "Bitcoin is not functional as a currency," but it is better than Facebook's proposed Libra cryptocurrency, according to a report by Forbes

At the same time, Dorsey had some optimism for Bitcoin, citing the cryptocurrency's 10-year history and overall resilience. He even said that bitcoin could become the "native currency for the internet," according to a report by The Syndney Morning Herald

He also said his company has looked into creating a cryptocurrency like Libra, but ultimately decided to keep with other existing cryptocurrencies.
