Tink integrates open banking technology into Nordea mobile app

Tink, a Stockholm-based open banking platform, will integrate its data and personal financial management technologies into the mobile app of Nordea, one of the largest banks in the Nordic region.

The agreement will let Nordea customers get a comprehensive look at personal financial data, including mortgage, savings, outstanding loans and current account information. The new integration will launch in Sweden and expand to Norway, Finland and Denmark over the next few months, according toa press release.

"Nordea is dedicated to providing great digital experiences, and we want to be seen as a relevant partner to our customers," Anders Nicander, head of One Digital at Nordea, said in the release. "As part of that, Nordea is happy to see that our customer experience in the Nordea mobile app is improved through our collaboration with Tink."

The bank plans to add additional features to the Nordea mobile app later this year, including the ability to set a budget, analyze spending and categorize costs.
