Tesco expands PayQwiq mobile app to all UK stores

Tesco is expanding the availability of its PayQwiq mobile payments app to every Tesco store in the U.K., according to a press release

PayQwiq, available for both Android and iOS smartphones, enables customers to pay for purchases and collect Clubcard points. Users simply download the app and link a credit or debit card to pay for purchases at Tesco.

To ensure that customers can use PayQwiq to pay for their weekly shopping and more, the app allows individual single transactions of up to 250 pounds ($314.43). It also provides a record of the user's transaction history and Clubcard points balance, according to the release.

Tesco said it expanded the app's availability due to strong customer feedback from a smaller pilot test.
