Skrill launches prepaid Visa card with Community Federal Savings Bank

Skrill USA Inc. unveiled the Skrill Visa Prepaid Card, issued by New York-based Community Federal Savings Bank, which allows customers of the Skrill digital wallet to make purchases online, in store or and for cash withdrawals at ATMs.

Skrill digital wallet users can use the cards to spend the balance of their digital wallet accounts, therefore the card is perfect for students, consumers with limited income or anyone else who lacks access to traditional credit.

"The new Skrill Visa Prepaid Card is a cutting edge solution to the Skrill digital wallet, empowering consumers by giving them more ways to pay,"Lorenzo Pellegrino, chief commercial officer at Skrill.

Customers can activate their cards within five minutes and get their physical cards within five to 10 business days.

Paysafe in June announced that it would bring its Rapid Transfer online transfer service to the U.S. under a partnership with Skrill USA.
