Shift4 Payments has entered a sponsorship deal with the Las Vegas Raiders and its new Allegiant Stadium, where it will be the team's official credit card processing provider when the former Oakland franchise officially begins the season from its new home.

The Allentown, Pennsylvania based company will handle all card transactions at the stadium using its contactless payment systems, including its QR Pay and SkyTab mobile technologies.

"Shift4's fully integrated suite of secure payment technologies will be used to process all transactions across the stadium's various points of purchase, including concessions, merchandise sales, ticketing and in-seat purchases," Nate Hirschberg, vice president, marketing at Shift4 Payments, told Mobile Payments Today, via email.

The SkyTab device will be used by roaming concessions vendors at the stadium to accept in-seat payments from fans. The NFL is reportedly allowing local officials to determine social distancing policies inside stadiums.
