Sezzle promotes Paradis to president, names ex-PayPal exec as CRO
Sezzle Inc., a Minneapolis-based installment payments platform, has promoted Chief Revenue Officer Paul Paridis to the newly created position of president and hired veteran PayPal executive Vanessa Katz to succeed him in his prior position.
"As a co-founder, Paul Paradis has been an invaluable partner for me since day one," Charlie Youakim, executive chairman and CEO of Sezzle, said in a company release. "He knows our business better than anyone and his new role will allow the entire organization to benefit from Paul's expansive knowledge and experience in building Sezzle."
He said Paradis left big shoes to fill in the CRO role, but called Katz the right person to succeed in that role. Katz had been with PayPal since 2011, most recently in the role of vice president of global accounts. She will spearhead the company's business development business, with an emphasis on enterprise-level accounts. She previously led PayPal's large enterprise business in North America.
