ProfitStars, a division of financial services technology company Jack Henry, announced its new Mobile Website platform. The new platform enables financial institutions to add mobile optimized sites to their  existing online and mobile banking solutions.

"Mobile has evolved to be an integral banking channel that more and more consumers expect their financial institutions to provide," said David Foss, president of ProfitStars. "Mobile Website is designed to help banks and credit unions of all sizes expand the conveniences of online banking into the mobile market in a way that is affordable and user-friendly."

Foss said ProfitStars believes FIs need a comprehensive mobile strategy to serve customers, attract new customers and compete effectively.

According to the announcement, with Mobile Website FIs can develop sites specifically for smaller screens and on-the-go functionality as well as a consistent look and ease of navigation. Additionally, sites are fully customizable, launch in a matter of weeks and are securely hosted by ProfitStars.

ProfitStars, based in Allen, Texas, said it has already designed, as well as manages and hosts more than 1,000 websites for financial institutions.
