PayAnywhere is expanding its retail footprint. Just a week after announcing it would be offering its mobile POS solution through retail outlets, PayAnywhere said that Sam’s Club has chosen the PayAnywhere credit card reader for mobile devices to showcase in its retail clubs nationwide and online.

"PayAnywhere and Sam’s Club share the same commitment to small businesses, the lifeblood of our economy,” said PayAnywhere VP of Sales Scott Addyman, adding that PayAnywhere is designed to specifically support the payments needs of real businesses.

The relationship with Sam's Club is a good partnership for PayAnywhere since 600,000 of Sam's Club's 47 million members are business owners.

Sam's Club members can now purchase the PayAnywhere reader for $9.99. They will receive a $10 rebate once they begin processing transactions. Additionally, customers who purchase a reader through Sam’s Club will receive $1,500 in free processing within the first 30 days of account activation. PayAnywhere charges a 2.69 percent fee for all transactions.

The PayAnywhere reader works on iOS, Andrdoid and BlackBerry devices.
