OpenTable plans to expand outside of San Francisco and bring its mobile payments service to New York and 20 additional cities by the end of the year, the company wrote in a blog post. 

Consumers already use OpenTable's app to book reservations at a participating restaurant. The company tested a payments feature in San Francisco which enables users to view and pay their check at select restaurants. 

OpenTable's website shows 48 restaurants in Manhattan that accept the app for payment.
