Mutual of Omaha Bank's business customers will now be able to accept credit and debit card transactions on their mobile devices using First Data's Pogo mobile POS solution.

Mutual of Omaha Bank, a subsidiary of insurance and finance company Mutual of Omaha, holds $6 billion in assets.

Merchant acquirer First Data is the world's largest merchant acquiring bank. It recently announced a strategy to begin offering its Pogo mobile POS solution through banks and credit unions.

Today's news from Mutual of Omaha Bank marks the first financial institution to begin offering Pogo since that strategy was announced.
