Mastercard launches Threat Scan to protect against bank fraud
Mastercard announced a cybersecurity service called Threat Scan, which helps banks proactively identify possible vulnerabilities in their authorization systems.
Mastercard, which announced the service at the Mastercard Cybersecurity Summit in Croatia, said the service simulates known fraudulent attacks and points out weaknesses in authorization security.
"Our customers increasingly rely on us to provide solutions that help make their systems safer and more secure," Johan Gerber, executive vice president, security and cyber innovation at Mastercard, said in a press release. "Threat Scan enables our customers to stay one step ahead, act faster and minimize the risks that expose them to attacks."
