London-based Dzing launches mobile banking app

Dzing, a London-based fintech startup, has launched a mobile banking app that will allow anyone from international students to remote freelancers and international travelers to manage money on smart devices at high speed.

The app, which operates on iOS and Android, allows customers to transfer money from the U.K. and Europe across borders and plans to operate across most of Europe by the end of the year.

"The company was born to address our customer's banking needs by providing speed, convenience, transparency and fair rates," Max Kharchenko, interim CEO and chief product officer at Dzing, told Mobile Payments Today via email. "With Dzing you can transfer and receive money in seconds, shop in-store and online, withdraw cash internationally with low commissions, split restaurant bills easily with your friends, receive instant spend notifications and set budgeting tools."

The company plans to expand operations into Israel by 2021.
