Klarna teams with Raisin on digital savings accounts in Germany
Klarna Bank AB has signed a cooperation agreement with Raisin, a Germany-based savings marketplace, to offer overnight and term deposit accounts of up to 48 months on the Raisin platform.
The accounts, offered exclusively for Raisin customers in Germany, will pay 0.35% interest for the Klarna overnight account, said in a press release.
"We'e on an exciting journey from being purely a payment provider to a comprehensive shopping ecosystem," Robert Bueninck, managing director of DACH Klarna, said in the release. "At the same time,we are consistently expanding out banking offerings and are very happy to have Raisin on our side as a partner who — like us — acts in the interest of our end customer."
