HomeAdvisor adds contactless payment, video messaging to platform
HomeAdvisor, a platform that connects homeowners to home improvement contractors, has launched a contactless payment and video messaging service that makes it easier for customers to do business while they are cooped up under stay-at-home orders during the COVID-19 pandemic.
"We decided to implement these new features to create a simpler, safer and easier way to complete home service jobs," Brandon Ridenouer, CEO of ANGI Homeservices, told Mobile Payments Today via email. "The digital payment tool offers pros and homeowners a contactless payment option that removes the friction associated with traditional payment methods that often require frequent trips to the bank, handwritten checks, detailed invoicing and additional fees for small business."
Customers can also leave tips using the mobile app as well.
The HomeAdvisor and HomeAdvisor Pro apps are available for download on iOS or Android.
