Hackers leak 270,000 Ledger customers' data to hacker marketplace

A database containing the personal information of over 270,000 Ledger customers was published on RaidForums, a marketplace for buying, selling, and sharing hacked information, according to report on The Block.

The database included phone numbers, email addresses as well as physical addresses of Ledger customers. This recent data breach is believed to be connected to a June breach of Ledger information that released the email addresses of over one million Ledger customers.

A Ledger spokesperson said to the media outlet that the June hackers had stole more information than the company initially thought and it was that information that was believed to be leaked win this recent attack.

Ledger posted an apology on Twitter to its customers for the data breach.
