Gregorys Coffee launches mobile food, drink orders with Ritual

Gregorys Coffee has entered an agreement with mobile pickup app Ritual to offer digital ordering and food pickup for customers, according to company officials.

"Ritual is building technology to provide coffee brands with a premium peer-to-peer delivery service," Ray Reddy, co-founder and CEO at Ritual said via email. "The Ritual team is focused on providing coffee customers with a solution to receive their coffee directly to their desk without compromising quality or added fees."

The Ritual platform keeps costs low by using Piggyback group ordering, a peer-to-peer delivery network feature that allows customers in a workplace to participate in getting food and drinks to other customers in that same workplace.

"At Gregorys Coffee, we establish and cultivate communities of people who see coffee differently by providing them with unforgettable experiences that are uniquely our own," Greg Zamfotis, chief executive of Gregorys Coffee, said in a press release. "Ritual's Piggyback feature has provided a way for our guests to get that same unforgettable experience right at their desk."

Gregorys Coffee will be offering $1 per cup prices through April 30 for guests buying through Ritual's Piggyback feature. Guests will earn points on every order, which can be redeemed for food or beverages.

The company is in beta with other third-party service providers at select locations, according to Reddy.
