Eat24, a restaurant delivery app, is now offering Google Wallet as a payment option on its Android platform. Since its initial integration with Google at the end of November, Eat24 has experienced a steady uptick in Android orders, according to a news release.

"Several of our staff used Google Wallet in their personal lives and loved it, so we decided to approach Google about integrating it into our Android app," Eat24 co-founder Nadav Sharon said in the release. "Since it launched, we've seen positive gains, including more Android orders and customers actually spending an average of 11 percent more when paying with Google Wallet."

The new payment option includes built-in security and fraud protection.
