CorFire launches new mobile commerce suite
CorFire, the mobile commerce business of SK C&C USA, announced a new branded suite of technology products aimed at mobile commerce and payments. The new suite of products include CorTrust, a Trusted Service Manager; CorPay, a mobile wallet platform; and Cor360, a set of mobile marketing services to provide location-enabled offers, gifting and loyalty services.
"Our CorTrust, CorPay and Cor360 products allow businesses to deploy mobile commerce services today, using NFC-enabled technology, bridge technology for non-NFC-based transactions, or a combination of both," said CorFire SVP Kevin Zhu in a statement.
CorFire's CorTrust TSM solution delivers credentials such as debit and credit cards directly to a mobile device allowing for real-time, over-the-air provisioning. Additionally, the service can be used to issue any type of payment account, gift card or private label card to a mobile device's secure element.
The CorPay mobile wallet lets consumers use their mobile devices to pay for goods and services by tapping or waving their NFC-enabled mobile devices at the point of sale. CorFire also said the CorPay platform can be customized and branded for its business customers.
The new Cor360 mobile marketing platform lets businesses send targeted offers and rewards to customers' mobile devices via a mobile app, web, text message and email. The solution also integrates with the other new CorFire tools, as well as other third party systems. It supports NFC as well as barcode technologies.
“Drawing from years of experience in deploying mobile commerce in Korea, our U.S. research and development team has developed these products to scale and optimize to the specific technical requirements of each customer's unique application,” CorFire CTO Dr. Jun Hong said in the announcement of the products.
