CoinText.io, an SMS cryptocurrency platform, recently launched support for its Bitcoin Cash wallet in Hong Kong, Israel and Palestine, according to a press release.

Users can send cryptocurrency directly via SMS messages, without using Wi-Fi, apps or other accounts. Customers can also access their wallets through SMS commands.

"These are important regions for us to connect because they're financial centers," Vin Armani, founder and lead developer, CoinText, said in the release. "And CoinText gives them a simple alternative to physical cash."

The Hong Kong and Israel releases use English as the default messaging language; CoinText is currently working to develop Hebrew and Chinese versions, as well, the release said.
