Bluefin, TokenEx partner to strengthen payment security
Bluefin, a provider of PCI-validated point-to-point encryption solutions, has partnered with TokenEx, a provider of data tokenization services, in a deal that will provide platform security technologies from each company to the other company's client base — i.e., extending the Bluefin PCI-validated P2PE solution to TokenEx clients and the TokenEx cloud tokenization solution to Bluefin clients, according to a press release.
Bluefin's global P2PE network consists of more than 85 connected partners including processors, payment gateways, ISVs and key injection facilities serving merchants in 25 countries. Bluefin enables its PCI-validated P2PE solution on partner platforms through its Decryptx Decryption-as-a-Service product, which allows gateways, applications and processors to connect directly to Bluefin for P2PE service.
TokenEx combats data theft while helping organizations reduce costs associated with PCI compliance. The TokenEx cloud data protection platform provides tokenization, encryption and data-vaulting as a unified SaaS solution for its enterprise customer base.
Designed from the beginning to be payment processor- and card reader-agnostic, the cloud platform integrates with existing business applications and payment providers.
