Auntie Anne's uses auto-ordering recliner to launch mobile-ordering app
Auntie Anne's is making it just way too easy for consumers to smother themselves in warm pretzels with its so-called Recline-to-Dine Chair, which it is using to help launch mobile ordering on its Pretzel Perks app, a news release said.
The brand created what it called a breakthrough in snacking technology in its novel Recline-to-Dine Chair, which actually places pretzel delivery orders with the pull of a lever. In essence then, simply by sitting back and relaxing, customers can let the chair literally order for them.
The chair is helping the Focus Brands company make customers aware of the new mobile ordering function, along with the brand's Recline-to-Dine Sweepstakes. From now through Aug. 25, customers can go online to ReclineToDine.com to be eligible to win a year of free pretzels, along with $1,200 to buy their own dream recliner, as well as a year of streaming services and a kickback care package including an Auntie Anne's blanket, pillow and pretzel-inspired socks.
The sweepstakes also offers gift cards and smaller prizes for runners up.
Auntie Anne's has locations in 49 states and more than 25 countries, The company is based in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and has 1,800 locations at the beginning of last year, according to its website.
