Atos Worldine offers 'ready-to-go' mobile wallet for service providers
French electronic transaction and payment company Atos Worldline announced it has launched a "ready-to-go" NFC mobile payment application for card issuers worldwide. The application is compliant with both Visa and MasterCard standards and is built on an architecture that combines a mobile application with cloud services.
"Atos Worldline is focused on fostering and encouraging innovation," said company CEO Christophe Duquenne. "The Atos Mobile Wallet is an example of a product leveraging our unique combined expertise in both payment and mobile services. It shows our commitment as business technologists to enable the mobile payment revolution, by using the latest technology to the benefit of our customers and the end-users."
Atos Worldline said its new mobile wallet is a solution for issuing banks as well as new payment service providers such as mobile network operators. It will offer fast, easy and secure mobile payments, provide value-added services on virtual payment cards, and offer service providers the ability to own existing customer relationships while supporting new end-user needs.
The new service implements the latest specifications from Visa, MasterCard, SIMAlliance and AFSCM, Atos Worldline said. Integration is straightforward, and offers end users features such as easy enrollment, payment history and account details that can be branded by the service provider.
Atos Worldline is offering its new mobile wallet as a standalone product or in conjunction with its other transaction services such as trusted service management, issuing platforms, prepaid management and access control.
