Technology group Wirecard has signed an agreement with Ikea stores in southeast Asia to provide them with a regionally-managed payment gateway product for online checkout, according to a press release.

The payment service covers Ikea stores in Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand. These stores now have the ability to provide online customers with multiple payment options. Shoppers will be able to select between credit, debit and alternative payment methods while also being able to make use of installment plans, according to the release.

Wirecard's digital payment ecosystem is based on a single integration point for all payment methods across the region, enabling Ikea southeast Asia stores to profit from simplified integration and faster rollout, according to the release.
