Personal finance app Yolt sees success in the U.K.

Yolt, a personal finance management app owned by ING, has reached 100,000 registered app users in less than six months of an open beta in the U.K., according to a press release.

Yolt enables users to view their accounts and credit cards in one place by linking such accounts to the app. Other features include setting budgets, tagging purchases and comparing the best options for international money transfers, according to the release.

"News of our registered app users reaching 100,000 is a fantastic milestone for Yolt and ING and we are really pleased we have reached this number ahead of time," Frank Jan Risseeuw, Yolt's CEO, said in the release. "We've made it this far with the feedback and suggestions of our brilliant community. With the arrival of open banking in 2018, we're looking forward to giving our users even more choice and control over their finances."
